So Wilson and I go on a fabu vacation - really the trip of a lifetime.  Trust me, I am working on a post to summarize but I don't want it to break an internet record for most words in a post or boring readers to death.  You always miss stuff when you leave and what do I miss - that Bestie guest posted for Muffy for a week while she was on vacation - I see why you two are besties - that was some funny shiz that I got myself caught up on and the very pretty Emily gave me an award.  Thank you so much Em - you totally rock!

Even though I have been blogging for almost 3 years (Holy crap people, I never thought I would still be at it, I just wanted to be one of the cool kids) it still gives me a thrill when I find wee blog on someone's blogroll, a comment left on an entry or that someone likes my mindless drivel that I send out to the universe and tells me about it.

In order to fulfill my obligations of winning this award, I now must forward to 10 other bloggers that I love.  However, since I took this job waaaay back when we had sunshine and warm weather, my ability to read blogs has sincerely be reduced due to the fact that I now have to work for a living (and not just show up and collect a pay cheque as I did at my old job).

I give this award to the following 3 blogs that I love and follow:

The much beloved Muffy of My Friends are Sluts
The lovely KK of Will Work for Shoes
The very funny Jen of JenatWork

Please don't judge me due to my pathetic ambition that got in the way of blogging.

Anyhoo - am back, on crack and ready to roll.

Once Christmas is over, I cannot wait for the heinous white stuff to be gone and spring to arrive.  It seems that it never will some days as more of that effing white stuff falls from the sky, makes my drive to and/or from work absolute hell and in general just pisses me off.

However this was sent to me recently and I had to laugh out loud at it.  For those of you who suffer through winter along with us - you can relate.  For those of you in sunnier climes, who do not have snow, extreme cold and dry, chapped skin - I hate you all - but you can pity those of us who were not as smart as you in choosing a place to spend our lives.

In less than 1 week, Wilson and I will be boarding a large plane to start that will take us to Cairo and help us to start walking like an Egyptian.  I cannot believe that this trip is finally here - we booked it almost a year ago.   Preparation is near complete - hair dyed so that the gray is not visible; mani/pedi done; legs waxed; new clothes purchased and all that is left is too put all clothes, shoes, sunscreen and all other personal products into the one suitcase that we are allowed and at the weight that won't cost us any additional money.

Needless to say that I will not be posting for a while but when I get back there will be plenty of pictures to see and many stories to tell.

I will miss you internet but never fear, I will return.
